I’m at a loss for words here. This is such a defining release that I can’t decide between letting the tracks speak for themselves or explain away for hours.
We’re proud of Feral for two reasons: First of all, we finally get to present a new, refined, heavy yet melodic sound that is rooted in our origins but entirely new at the same time. It felt right going in this direction and we didn’t hesitate to do so. Secondly, Feral is emotionally and lyrically speaking a coherent work. The songs we selected for this EP have the same nature of wild, unhinged beings, which is supported by both lyrics and sound.
Naturally, this theme matches amazingly with our band and the lion design we’ve had since the very start. It was a no-brainer to base the cover on our band animal, and the human hand taunting the feral lion is practically the story of each and every song, in its own way. And our singer brought the idea to life!

Kill or Be Killed is synonymous to predator and prey. In tense situations there might be no amicable outcome and you have to choose between unpleasant options: Die, or be a ruthless killer yourself! The track is presented from the perspective of a father whose family home is being broken into, contemplating the legal and moral outcomes of his actions.
Rough and Tough, to put it very cliche, its about ups and downs. In life, love or wherever they might be. Rough being the world, and tough being you (you got this!!) The protagonist is very challenged by all sorts of miss-happenings and sadly turns mad in the end, or feral, if you will.
Until We Meet Again is about hiding your true self instead of really changing. A trait the first person criticizes their love interest for. They put on a disguise, but there is still something wild lingering beneath.
Finally, Kerosene puts the cherry on the cake here. It has the most feral sound of all the tracks and conveys its message in the most explosive way possible. Its about a girl being a figurative bomb… You know she will explode but yet you cannot let her go. And ultimately it’s you who sets her off. If poorly stored jet fuel in a mad mans shed had a soundtrack it would probably be this one.
